Top Ford award says ‘you’re the business’

When it comes to helping businesses keep on the road, the team at Yeovil Ford has shown itself to be the business, too.


The dealership is one of only four across the UK to be awarded a Ford Motor Company Chairman’s award for outstanding customer experience. Specifically it was for Yeovil Ford’s commercial vehicle service and repair quality of workmanship so Robin Jamieson, Yeovil Ford’s senior commercial technician stepped forward to receive it as his bosses looked on.


“It seemed only right that Robin should get his hands on the award first,” said Paul Allonby, service manager for parent company Foray Motor Group West Country Ford dealerships in Yeovil, Taunton, Bridgwater, and Chard.


“Robin is one of many long-serving employees – he’s been with us 41 years – who help keep the business focused on long-standing and loyal customers. We know loyalty works two ways, especially for business customers who need us to respond at the times they need service and repairs so we are geared to keeping them on the road with reliable vehicles.


“People like Robin are also helping the next generation of technicians and, like others, he is currently training an apprentice who will benefit from four decades of expertise being passed on. It’s this that helps deliver the award-winning quality of work that both we and our customers prize.”
