The Ford Motability Scheme offers a range of benefits, including:
We offer a variety of Motability adaptations, ranging from electric driving aids and hoists to more complex adaptations for scooter or wheelchair users.
We understand your needs may vary throughout the three-year term on the Motability Scheme, so we may be able to continue to tailor new adaptations to ensure you are fully supported during the whole of your contract period.
To qualify for the Ford Motability Scheme, you must be in receipt of one of the following allowances:
You are also eligible if you are a parent or guardian of a child aged 3 or over receiving the mobility component of DLA.
The Attendance Allowance is not a qualifying benefit.
You can insure up to three drivers on your Motability vehicle, including yourself.
If you opt for the Mobility scheme it’s not an essential for you to drive. You can nominate friends and family members as drivers if you are not capable to drive the vehicle yourself. Up to two drivers can be nominated for no cost at all, with an extra cost for a third person. All of the people you nominate should live within five miles of your address, and have to agree to Motability's terms and conditions.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy your Motability car at the end of your three-year lease. However, the following options will be available to you:
Yes, you can use a Motability car or van for work.
Insurance is always included when leasing a vehicle through the Motability Scheme - which includes travel to and from your normal workplace.
When you sign up for your new Motability vehicle, you will need to review your insurance details. The current provider is Direct Line Motability (DLM).
