It has been announced today that parking fines will not be increased to the £200 mark in London during the Olympics later this year.
Whilst many are happy, including commercial van drivers who regularly travel throughout the city and in some cases receive fines due to a wide number of reasons, it has also shed light on just how costs have soared over the past year and a half.
Van drivers such as those that drive Ford Transit vans could well be one of the largest receivers of fines; this could certainly be due to the large amount of increased demand for products mixed with the large amount of motoring and parking restrictions that will be in force during the period in London.
By not taking a chance whilst parking, companies could find themselves saving money, giving them even more choice of great new Ford vans to upgrade their fleets with.
