New Kuga ST-Line unveiled by Ford
Ford has unveiled a new Kuga ST-Line SUV and has revealed that the vehicle will be on sale later this year.
The new sporty SUV will be the fourth model in the ST-Line range and it will be on sale from September 1st at Ford car dealers across Dorset and the rest of Britain.
The new model also boasts the powerful EcoBoost petrol and TDCi diesel engines and sports-tuned driving dynamics.
The new Kuga ST-Line’s prices will start from around £25,000.
The new model has been commended for its exterior and interior styling, which includes features such as alloy wheels and sport seats.
The new Kuga ST-Line has also undergone a number of chassis enhancements, benefitted from a stiffer suspension and has the Ford Electronic Power Assisted Steering system included.
Kuga ST-Line expands Ford’s SUV range
The new Ford Kuga ST-Line has expanded the car manufacturer’s SUV range as well as adding to the Kuga model’s most impressive line-up ever. Ford has already released the new Kuga and Ford Kuga Vignale as well as the EcoSport and new Ford Edge models.
Speaking to the Ford Motor Company Media Center, Roelant de Waard, vice president of Marketing, Sales and Service for Ford of Europe, said, “With our sporty Kuga ST-Line joining the new Kuga and our upscale Ford Kuga Vignale, Ford will offer a Kuga for every lifestyle.
“We predict sales of 200,000 Ford Kuga, EcoSport and Edge SUVs in Europe this year – up by 200 per cent from 2013.”
This is a timely move from Ford as recent statistics from Jato, a consulting service, has revealed the percentage of SUVs sold in Europe compared with total car sales has grown from six per cent in 2005 to 23 per cent in 2015.
