The new Ford Ranger has become popular in the UK with businesses and individuals looking for a vehicle with power, performance and style. Its popularity has become infectious across the world since the Ford Motor Company released it globally, with South Africa being the latest country to embrace the Ford pickup.
The new Ranger is so popular in South Africa that Ford is adding 800 new jobs at its production facility in Silverton to deal with the demand. Currently over 1500 Rangers are being sold alongside other new Ford vans at South African dealerships.
The new Ford ranger is available in countries such as North America, Australia, Dubai, Thailand, Brazil, Sweden, Germany and South Africa. So far each country has seen great demand, and with the way that sales figures are going globally it could well become a household name, such as Ford's Transit van.
