New Fiesta receives highest Euro NCAP safety rating

The upcoming 2013 Ford Fiesta has officially received the highest safety rating possible from Euro NCAP, with its newly confirmed five-star status one of six formal awards to have just been given to the historic manufacturer's range of cars.

The announcement will mean that anyone purchasing their next domestic transport from one of the Ford car dealers around the South West or elsewhere in the UK should be in no doubt as to its excellent safety credentials; the company has been widely praised by NCAP and various other bodies for the way in which it has been introducing extremely innovative protective technology into standard family cars over the last few years, and they have now been justly rewarded for these efforts.

Ford's new Kuga joined the Fiesta in being named in NCAP's Advanced Rewards system as a five star safety rated model, which is a further indication of the wide choices that consumers now have when it comes to buying a truly safe car from Ford.

The other awards which the Michigan-based firm received recently were for their individual on-board safety features, which have proven to be groundbreaking in their ability to prevent road accidents and, therefore, injury to drivers, passengers and pedestrians. Ford's Lane Keeping Aid, Driver Alert, Forward Alert and the revolutionary Active City Stop were all already singled out for official acknowledgement, and this praise has now also been bestowed upon the MyKey system, which will be available in the new Fiesta, and SYNC, which can be enjoyed by users of the B-MAX.

New and used Ford car dealers undoubtedly offer the best range of safe transport to be found throughout the UK's mainstream showrooms, with Andrew Johnson, the supervisor for automotive safety at Ford of Europe, commenting that both SYNC with Emergency Assistance and MyKey are worldwide firsts when it comes to small vehicles.
