MORE EC CO2 EMISSION PROPOSALS FOR VANS AND CARS

With the news that the number of proposals that have been put forward by the European Commission, regarding CO2 emissions, has increased, more and more van and fleet companies are looking into getting themselves the best solution possible, by investing in new Ford vans such as Ford Transit vans.
The proposed changes would see average emissions for cars having to drop from 135.7g/km to 95g/km, by the year 2020, and van emissions having to be brought down from 181g/km (figures for 2010) to 147g/km in 2012.
A spokesperson for the commission has expressed the many positive points to the proposed changes, not only will it help the environment but also help drivers save money through improve car economy. The average fuel cost saving for vans has been estimated at £315 during the first year of use, and a staggering £2655-£3,604 during the vans estimated lifetime (Thirteen years).
