Ford unveils production version of new Vignale Mondeo model
This month Ford unveiled the production version of its first vehicle in the new Vignale brand- the new Ford Vignale Mondeo.
New Ford models and cars are renowned for their quality and the new Ford Vignale range is no different as every model in the range will be hand-finished in a special centre based in Valencia, Spain.
The new Ford Vignale Mondeo is available in four-door and estate body styles, will be the first car in Europe to have Ford’s Active Noise Cancellation technology available and has quilted tuxedo-stitched leather interior.
Drivers of the new Ford Vignale Mondeo can also take advantage of technology such as; the Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, which helps reduce the severity of frontal collisions and helps drivers avoid collisions, and Ford’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive that automatically improves traction and road-holding.
Inside the car back seat passengers will get a smooth ride as a result of the car’s new integral link rear suspension, whilst front seat passengers can take advantage of the cars Multi-Contour Seats with active motion function that is aimed at reducing muscle fatigue during long drives.
New Ford Vignale Mondeo to cost over £29,000
Ford UK have revealed that the new model will be priced from £29,045 and from May will be available in flagship Ford stores across the UK.
It is also believed that Ford dealers in Hampshire and other parts of the UK could sell the models in the future.
Jim Farley, Ford executive vice president and president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, “Ford Vignale is the highest expression of the Ford brand in Europe, bringing together award-winning design with a unique ownership experience.”
He added, “Our vision for Vignale is to create a modern, contemporary upscale experience that makes Vignale a valued part of customers’ lives, starting with the Ford Vignale Mondeo, and later this year with introduction of the Ford Vignale S MAX.”
