The Ford Motor Company has been seeing the popularity of its New Ford Ranger pickup increasing immensely across the world, with the vehicle becoming the safest pickup truck ever.
In South Africa, the new Ranger has become the most popular choice for those seeking a 4x4 vehicle, which is no surprise as Ford has been busy reinforcing its all round safety levels. The Ford Motor Company have been working with paramedics in SA and hosting training sessions for them.
At the last session, Ford provided 14 new Ford Rangers, each vehicle being tipped into a position that would simulate a crash situation, with the paramedics rescuing passengers within the vehicle using their power tools.
The training scheme shows just how serious Ford are about the safety of its cars and new Ford vans, a spokesman for the paramedics commented that the training was invaluable, with ever changing equipment types being added.
