Ford’s sales growth expands further in the UK market
Figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, ahead of its show, give a clear glimpse of just how strong the Ford Motor Group's sales have become over 2012.
Ford's may car sales figures increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2011, with an increase from 21,581 to 23,083. An underlying show of Ford's superiority within the UK's market is the Fiesta's number one ranking, showing just how popular Ford cars for sale have become and how customers are trusting in the blue oval for their vehicles.
The Fiesta may well be the most popular vehicle in the UK Currently but Ford's larger car range has shown it is gaining and edge over other makes. The Ford Mondeo, Ford S-MAX and Galaxy have all seen jumps in sales compared to May 2011.
It is thought that the recent introduction of the EcoBoost engine to Ford Cars and Ford car dealers, the most innovative and economic engine released by the carmakers yet, will only bolster figures and growth rates in the months to come.
