FORD INVEST MORE IN ELECTRIFICATION ON ITS VANS AND CARS

The Ford Motor Company are continually investing in more economic and eco-friendly vehicle options, including electric and hybrid versions of new Ford vans and cars..
The company has just invested hugely in a new complex to help bolster their team of developers into coming up with a vehicle that will not only save money at the fuel pumps, but also help the environment. The new building is known as the ‘Electrification Center of Excellence' and is located in Dearborn, Michigan.
Ford have commented that they now have over 1000 technicians and developers working solely on the idea of electrifying cars and new Ford vans, with even more personnel being added during the coming year.
Already EV versions of Ford vans such as the Connect model of the ever popular Ford Transit van is available across America and has seen trials within Europe; it can travel at up to 75 miles per hour and achieve a range of 50-80 miles.
