FORD CONTINUES MINIBUS SUPPORT FOR DISABLED SERVICES SKI TEAM

For the fourth year in a row, the Ford Motor Company of Britain has continued its minibus support for Combined Services Disabled Ski Team (or CSDST). This year saw the UK arm of the Ford Motor Company hand over keys to a brand new nine-seat Ford Transit Tourneo minibus which will help the skiing team compete in their forthcoming international winter sports events.
The Combined Services Disabled Ski Team athletes are part of a registered charity which provides ski-race coaching to both veterans and serving members of the Armed Forces who are living with a permanent disability as a result of active service.
The team covered almost 30,000 miles in their minibus last year and won gold and bronze medals in the events they attended. The CSDST are currently aiming to represent Great Britain in Sochi, Russia for the 2014 Winter Paralympics.
It just goes to show if you are looking for a versatile commercial vehicle, the new Ford Tourneo Transit van is very adaptable for whatever your daily requirements are.
