Ford confirms emergency breaking system for new Fiesta

Officials from Ford have confirmed that the latest instalment of the UK's most popular car, the Fiesta, is to include the innovative emergency breaking system which has proved such a success since it was introduced into other models.

Ford car dealers are sure to receive an increased amount of interest in the new edition of this consistently widely selling supermini, now that its excellent safety credentials are to be improved even further by the inclusion of the Active City Stop mechanism.

Already featured in the B-Max and C-Max models, Active City Stop has the ability to electronically scan the road the car is being driven on fifty times every second, both preventing and reducing the frequency and impact of collisions.

Both new and used Ford car dealers have been selling a large amount of Fiestas for years, with its status as the country's top domestic vehicle being reaffirmed in the last few days, after the SMMT's announcement that it has again held onto its status as the most purchased car in the UK.
