FORD CHIEF AND HIS TRANSIT CONNECT SET TO RETIRE
At the end of this month one of the Ford Motor Companies most senior members, Lewis Booth, will be retiring. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial officer of the motoring group, he has been responsible for the financial operations that investor relations, and has been involved with not only Ford but several other motor manufacturers during his career.
As you can imagine, many executives enjoy driving the crème de la crème when it comes to their own vehicles, Booth has surprised many by owning a Ford Connect Transit van as his main drive, complete with racing stripes.
Booth, who ran Ford of Europe during the 1980s and 90s, could of course have his pick from any new Ford vans, he even commented that when his commercial lease was up on his van, he would probably buy it!
