FLEETS EXPRESS CONCERN ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY SUPPORT

A report by Goodyear Dunlop has shown that many European fleet owners and drivers are extremely worried about fuel efficiency, so worried in fact that 1 in 7 road hauliers predict that they could be out of business within eight years unless fuel efficiency is drastically improved upon.
Van and fleet drivers are already under pressure to comply with government guidelines and regulations that are expected to become even stricter over the coming years and will eventually conform to the 20/20/20 commitments that many European governments have backed.
The report also highlighted van and fleet drivers feelings towards the amount of support they are receiving with regards to fuel efficiency and its technologies, with many expressing the feeling that they ‘need more support, not regulation'.
If you are looking for energy efficient vans, why not visit your nearest commercial van dealer? In the past many new Ford vans have been commended for their energy efficient engines, such as the Ford Transit vans.
