After months of speculation the Ford Tourneo Custom Concept has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The newly designed and style people carrier is based upon the Ford Transit van, with much of its features being expected to be carried through to new Transit van designs in the future.
The Tourneo will be released within Europe and Asia in the upcoming months, and has several design features carried over from some of Ford's latest cars such as the Focus's, Fusion's and Kuga's front fascia and grille.
The vehicle that was on show at the Geneva Motor Show yesterday was a show stealer, complete with 18 inch wheels and LED internal and external lights. The concept van also showcased and improved version of the company's 2.2 litre Duratorq engine, eventually the Tourneo along with other new Ford vans will be available with 98 and 123bhp variants.
