Familiar face returns to Andover Ford team

A familiar face has returned to Andover Ford to run the sales team.

John Sunderland worked in the Weyhill Road Ford showroom for three years as a salesman before moving to its parent company Foray Motor Group's flagship English Ford dealership in Poole to develop his skills.

Now John, who lives in Salisbury, has returned to Andover as sales controller with a team of two working alongside him, Matt Harmer and newly-arrived Nick Martell.

"It's great meeting my old customers again, with many of them who bought from me when I was here before coming back at the end of three years' of ownership to trade in their car for another new Ford.

"It feels like I have never been away and I can promise them, and all my new customers, that I am as focused as ever on providing the best levels of support both during and after the sales process."

John and Nick both come from retail sales backgrounds, having worked for rival supermarket chains in management roles before making the change to the motor trade.

"There's no more rivalry," said John. "We are both on the same team and building up for the new ‘61' registration plate which launches on September 1. We have a great range of models, with both of Britain's best selling cars, the Fiesta and Focus, among them.

"Ford has brought some new high value models to the range in time for September and the Fiesta has just been named Britain's Best Supermini for third year in succession by Auto Express magazine."
