The Managing Editor of a leading car and van reviews website has revealed how he is eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of the 2013 Ford Transit Custom Sport, which promises to be even more sleek and stylish than its hugely popular predecessor.
Stating that this edition will add 'spice' to the massively selling and undeniably practical range of Ford Transit vans that have been available from dealerships around the country for many years, the reviewer has spoken of his enthusiasm at the prospect of the new Custom Sport being the most attractive edition of the classic Light Commercial Vehicle yet.
The new Transit is expected to be released in the first couple of months of next year, and the article in question has described the latest Sport as an 'eye-catching proposition', judging by the internal and external specifications of it which have already been announced.
Writing that the 2013 Custom Sport is set to be one of the most exciting new Ford vans to have been produced in recent years, the reviewer commented on how good both the inside and outside of the vehicle will look, with its part-leather charcoal black trim, twin bonnet stripes and 18-inch alloy wheels making it an unusually trendy LCV.
The author of the piece, however, was also keen to point out how the pleasing aesthetic features of the Custom Sport in no way comes at the expense of its practicality and suitability for the trades people who will use it; the review particularly praises the van's 2.2-litre Duratorq diesel engine and the 153bhp torque that it delivers.
The Transit in its various forms is, of course, just one of an extensive selection of vans which are now available from Ford, and the manufacturer has picked up an impressive number of year-ending awards over the last couple of months for the excellence of its fleet.
