Eight year high for UK car manufacturing
Figures released by the SMTT have shown just how the car manufacturing industry is slowly rising back to previous levels in the current financial climate; the figures show the highest level of output since back in 2004.
Last months car production totalled 141,146, an increase of over 42% compare to the same period last in 2011, an increase that looks to further increase with current year to date output figures showing a rise of 17.3%.
Engine manufacturing has risen by 13.4% during May, with many new innovative systems being introduced in recent months, such as the EcoBoost engine that is now fitted in one of the most popular Ford cars for sale, the Focus 2012.
So with both car output and engine production on the up, you can be sure of finding plenty of choice at your nearest dealer, such as your local Ford car dealers, at a competitive price.
