EcoBoost engine confirmed for forthcoming Ford Focus

Officials from the iconic US-based automotive company have confirmed that the next instalment of one of the most enduringly popular Ford cars for sale, the Focus, will feature the EcoBoost engine that has been making such an impression amongst drivers around the world.

The hotly anticipated Focus RS, which has been pencilled in for general release in the early part of 2014, is to benefit from a brand new, 2.3-litre, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which will produce up to 350bhp, representing an increase of 100bhp on the current ST model.

One leading automobile reviews website predicted that the new Focus will ‘humble' its more expensive rivals when it is brought out, with the price tag not expected to increase much upon the brand's existing costs.

Both new and used Ford cars provide their drivers with the very best standards when it comes to getting value for money, and the forthcoming Focus will be yet another worthy addition to the company's well stocked showrooms all over the South West and beyond when it arrives.
