Charity sale at Edwards raises £310

A Vehicle showroom was transformed into a shop of a very different sort on Wednesday, all in the name of charity.

Staff at Edwards Ford at the Churchfields Industrial Estate in Salisbury cleared out their commercial showroom for the day and filled it instead with donations of clothes, jewellery and other items to be sold, raising £155 for Breast Cancer Care which the company matched to make a total of £310.

Sales representative Monica Trakes said: “It was brilliant, absolutely fantastic. Everyone brought in donations on the Monday and Tuesday then it was vans out and everything else in.”
