Ben's Big Break Puts New Focus on Career
Ben Garrick has just received the first big break in his motor trade career.
For Ben, who's now 27, has been appointed sales manager at Andover Ford in Weyhill Road, Andover. He joined the parent company's flagship Salisbury dealership as a used car salesman almost seven years ago and has seen his career progress since then.
Already an expert on Motability, the scheme that provides cars for disabled people, whether or not they are able to drive themselves, Ben says he is enjoying settling into the expanded role that his new position brings.
"I'm looking forward to introducing more Andover motorists to the wide range of Ford models - there's something here to suit everyone whether they want the Ka city car, tyre-scorching Focus RS, a sensible people carrier like the S-Max or Galaxy, the 4x4 Kuga, or the huge-selling Fiesta and Focus hatchback models," comments Ben.
"I've enjoyed developing my career around the Ford range and have also appreciated the mentoring I've had from senior staff that has enabled this latest promotion. I'm now looking forward to passing on those benefits to my own sales team."
Foray Group sales manager Tom Croft said Ben's combination of experience and enthusiasm ensured he was the right person to take over the sales reins at Andover Ford.
"Since he joined us as a 21 year old he has steadily matured and shown he has the essential ability to provide on-going customer service and not just persuade people to buy cars," added Tom.
"Foray Group prides itself on the back-up it gives its customers and this starts the minute they agree to buy a car from us. I'm sure our customers will find Ben gives the highest standards of service."
