2013 Mondeo gets unveiled in Paris Motor Show

Even though the Ford Mondeo was unveiled properly at the ‘Go Further' event a few weeks back in Amsterdam, the Paris Motor show has been the first chance to view the Ford cars for sale up close.

Going under the name of the Fusion in North America, the 2013 Mondeo is one of Ford's global cars with the vehicles specs being the same across the name. The vehicle will be equipped with the award winning EcoBoost engine and is already tipped to provide best in class fuel economy, something that will make it extremely popular when it gets released next year.

The 2013 Mondeo will feature a wide array of new technology such as the SYNC system with MyFord Touch, incorporating an 8inch colour touch screen and a WiFi hotpot for up to five devices.

New Mondeos will also debut Ford's rear inflatable seatbelts which are designed to disperse crash forces five times greater than a conventional seatbelt.

A released date has not yet been set but it will be late 2013 before you can expect the 2013 Mondeo to appear at your local Ford car dealers.
