2013 Ford Focus EcoBoost receives four star review

The brand new 2013 Ford Focus 1.0T 100 EcoBoost has received a warm review from one of the UK's leading automotive guides, with a four out of five star rating accompanied by a positive write-up which is sure to increase its popularity on the forecourts of Ford car dealers around the South West and beyond.

Evaluating this latest edition of what was recently named as the world's best selling domestic vehicle of 2012, the reviewer noted that it is the 'most economical' version of the car to have ever been released, due to the fact that it makes use of a detuned 125 EcoBoost turbocharged engine designed for another Focus.

The article concluded that, as well as the 1.0T 100 EcoBoost coming in at £500 cheaper than the model which inspired its design, this smaller 2013 Focus still maintains excellent performance levels, and is easier to drive in heavy traffic, thanks to a smoother delivery of power when at low revs.

Describing the Focus as 'no exception' when it comes to Ford's admired reputation for providing 'beautifully' handling and steering vehicles, the piece claims that driving this latest release offers more fun than virtually every other family car on the market when travelling on particularly winding roads.

Used Ford car dealers are still selling thousands of Focus models around the country each and every year, and all the signs are that this new edition will only strengthen the fantastic image the brand enjoys amongst the driving public, with this review stating that the 1.0T 100 is simply 'brilliant to drive' .

The review ends by saying that this particular version of the Focus is an excellent choice for those looking for a small and efficient family car, partly because it also brings with it extremely favourable tax and insurance rates.
