After months of public feedback, endless online polls, and a few passionate discussions in pub car parks, we’ve made the bold decision to rename the highly anticipated All-Electric Ford Capri to the nation’s true favourite – the New All-Electric Ford Cortina.
That’s right – the Capri is no more. In a move nobody saw coming (except maybe our marketing team), we’ve brought back the iconic Cortina nameplate, because if there’s one thing the British public loves more than an all-electric sports crossover, it’s a classic saloon name with absolutely no connection to it whatsoever.
From today, the New All-Electric Ford Cortina will be hitting UK roads, packed with cutting-edge electric technology, up to 390 miles of range, and the unmistakable DNA of a car your dad definitely drove in the 70s.
Nostalgia never looked so electric.
