WARNING TO VAN DRIVERS ON LOW EMISSION ZONE EXPANSION
Transport of London recently announced that they would be further increasing charges within the Low Emissions Zone (LEZ), by including vans and trucks up to 1.2 tonnes in weight; leaving many van owners in the country happy that they don't travel to the capital regularly or at all. Sadly for many however, this could well soon change.
It has been reported that many councils across the country are closely studying how the LEZ system fares in the upcoming months, with many planning on possibly introducing similar systems. So who knows? More Low Emission Zones could well be added across the UK, meaning all vans and pickups that do not comply with EURO III emission standards could face charges to go about their daily work duties.
One way to combat any worries about charges or emission levels is to view the great range of new Ford vans available, such as Ford Transit Vans, with plenty of performance and economy they are the ideal choice when it comes to upgrading your commercial vehicle.
