Two Foray Motor Group showrooms part of a new Ford initiative

Ford has unveiled plans for its new Transit24 initiative that is aimed at supporting transit van users across the UK.

The car manufacturer has nominated 100 Ford dealers across the UK as part of this initiative, who sell transit vans, to be a part of its Transit24 aftersales programme. These new ‘Transit Centres’ will showcase the new generation of commercial vehicles to Ford’s customers, whilst also reducing the whole life costs for operators and vehicle downtime.

Two of Foray Motor Group’s showrooms included in programme

Two of the 100 ‘Transit Centres’ that Ford has nominated are Foray Motor Group’s showrooms in Poole and Yeovil. Foray Motor Group’s Commercial Vehicles Director, Elwyn Pritchard, said in a statement, “As a major national supplier of Transit in all its derivatives we have access to vast stock levels to let us offer the best prices.”

This now means that the Poole and Yeovil Ford Transit Centre showrooms will be showcasing the latest commercial vehicles from Ford, will have a CV sales team, and Ford-trained technicians, as well as boast specialist workshop equipment, tools and training.

As a result, owners of new Ford vans will benefit from a one-stop shop for their vehicles as the showrooms can manage transit vans maintenance, service and warranties.

The Transit24 programme from Ford will also offer customers collection and delivery of vehicles; while-you-wait servicing that is aimed at being as suitable as possible, including late-night appointments; and a 20-minute response to online service booking requests.

The launch of the Ford Transit Centre network has coincided with the change in the car manufacturer’s commercial vehicle range, as Ford has recently confirmed the unveiling of four new models; the Transit Courier, Transit Connect, Transit Custom and Transit.
