Model for new Ford Kuga Vignale revealed

The production-ready Ford Kuga Vignale has been revealed and this news will see the Vignale model expand into the SUV sector.

The new upscale SUV will be available to buy in Ford van and SUV dealers in Andover and across the rest of Britain and Europe later this year.

This latest news means that in total there will be three new Ford Vignale models released this year with the Ford S-MAX Vignale and the Ford Edge Vignale SUV also set to be hitting Europe’s roads this year.

The Ford S-MAX Vignale is already available to order and follows in the footsteps of the Ford Mondeo Vignale, which was released in 2015.

Ford Kuga Vignale to offer pure luxury

The Ford Kuga Vignale is set to offer drivers across Europe pure luxury, with Cashmere-coloured leather being used for the interior trim of the car, Ford EcoBoost petrol and TDCi diesel engines available in the model and the stunning pearlescent-metallic Vignale Milano Grigio exterior colour also available for the new SUV.

Speaking to the Ford Motor Company Media Center, Jim Farley, Chairman and CEO of Ford of Europe, said, “Our customers have high aspirations, and they want more from Ford. On some vehicles, our top-of-the-line Titanium specifications make up 70 per cent of all sales.

“With Ford Vignale, we can offer them the absolute best of Ford in terms of luxury and personal service. That’s why we are expanding from Ford Mondeo Vignale to our flagship products Edge and S-MAX, with Kuga to come soon after.”

The new Ford Kuga Vignale model is based on the Kuga mid-size SUV, but will be hand-finished by master craftspeople at the Vignale Centre in Valencia.

This type of luxury has been in high demand, with over 80 per cent of the 33,000 Kugas sold in 2015 in the UK being high-specification Titanium models.
