Famous for delivering the height of technology, comfort and reliability since being established back in 1903, the news of good sales for the Ford Motor Company comes after the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders released their official sales. It confirmed that a staggering 25,597 models were sold in July 2013, showing an impressive increase of 38.2% when compared to the 18,468 sold during July 2012. It puts the firm in a good position in terms of the yearly sales figures of 188,993, indicating an increase of 11.9% against the same period 12 months before.

The figures showed the dominance which the new Ford Fiesta currently holds on the super-mini market, with sales making the model the best-selling car in the UK in July. It's supercharged older brother, the Fiesta ST, has also proved a popular choice among motorists, with more than 3,000 orders of the vehicle placed since going on sale in July – double the originally projected rate. Ford also took the prize for the second best-selling vehicle during the month, with sales of the Ford Focus leading to its market share rising by 1.2% to 4.5%. Other models which experienced increases in sales during the month included the Ka, Kuga, B-Max and C-Max.
