GOVERNMENT UNVEIL PLANS FOR LOW CARBON CAR AND VANS

A new scheme by the government has been unveiled and if successful should see a large amount of ultra-low carbon cars and vans making their way onto the countries roads and dealership forecourts.
Under the title of UKH2Mobility, the programme will put more pressure on manufacturers to look into the potential use of hydrogen as an alternative fuel source. Its first mission is to analyse just what the impact would be if vans and cars used the alternative fuel, along with how the idea would work commercially.
An expected £400 million of investment has been put forward by the government to start up the scheme.
Even though this scheme has just been announced, you can still do your bit in the meanwhile in bringing down co2 emissions, by investing in a vehicle with more fuel efficiency.
