Ford to trial new showroom identity

The Ford  Motor Company are in the process of trialling out new ways to improve their customers retail experience, with two Ford car dealers already giving car buyers a glimpse of the new scheme.

The dealerships are part of a seven county pilot project that will be focusing upon several elements, including meeting and greeting of potential clients, waiting areas and the vehicle hand over process and area.

Some of the features being tested out include a version Apple's ‘Genius bar' which gives customers the use of gadgets such as iPads, giving them a chance to formally choose and design their new car and have it easily transferrable to sales staff to make the process smoother.

Just last week, Ford's European chairman spoke about the company's showroom changes, commenting that they were in the process of making interactions with those seeking Ford cars for sale much more customer focused encounters.
