FORD SET TO INTRODUCE 15 FUEL EFFICIENT ENGINES THIS YEAR
This year the Ford motor Company are set to introduce fifteen new vehicle models, all of which will be best in class for fuel economy and efficiency, and all of this by the end of 2012. If all goes to plan, Ford of Europe will have one of the largest selections of cars that emit under 100g/km of CO2 emissions, including two Focus diesel models and six Fiestas.
Not only will Ford's cars be the mainframe of the company's drive towards bringing down emissions, new Ford vans such as the Transit and the Ranger pickup will be seeing new versions being released. Equipped with TDCI diesel engines, the popular commercial vehicles will out perform their rivals. Even the one tonne version and passenger bus version (Tourneo) of the Transit van will be released during the year with TDCI technology, making them emit just 174g/km and 168g/km.
As you can see no other company is working harder than Ford to combat CO2 emissions, in turn helping the motoring giants to achieve their already stringent emission targets.
