Ford scoops two awards at 2013 Vehicle Dynamic International Awards

Since the Model T first rolled off the production line back in 1930, the Ford Motor Company has continued to grow in popularity and prestige, now established as one of the finest automotive institutions in the world. They have stayed at the top of their game, with flagship models like the Fiesta, Focus and the Galaxy highly regarded within their respected markets.

The company's tireless innovations have certainly not gone unnoticed, receiving countless awards during their long history. The latest accolade came at the 2013 edition of the Vehicle Dynamics International Awards and serves as the perfect praise for their Dynamics Team, who were named Dynamics Team of the Year and Dynamists of the Year.

The award for Dynamics Team of the Year represents the great works which have gone into the latest models, such as the B-Max, Kuga, Fiesta ST and new Ford Focus ST – all of which are regarded as established members of the Ford family. The individual award for Dynamicist of the Year was given to David Put, the man responsible for tuning the ST and RS models for Ford TeamRS.

Group Vice President for Global Product Development, Raj Nar, spoke of his delight after winning the awards, saying that the Ford Motor Company has placed driving dynamics at the heart of their global product development. He also said that the company is committed to going a step further to achieve the ultimate in dynamic driving for its customers.

With this just another award for the company, it is further evidence that Ford have a worldwide reputation for bringing high class dynamics to the realm of affordable mainstream production vehicles.
