FORD’S CHAIRMAN REWARDS POOLE TEAM’S EXCELLENCE

The commercial sales team at English Ford in Poole has just received a pat on the back from the boss.
The accolade has come not from their sales director or even the managing director of parent company Foray Motor Group.
It's actually from Stephen Odell, chairman Ford of Europe, to mark the team's excellent performance and customer service during 2011.
Compared with 2010, the team of three sold 40 per cent more Ford light commercials from the Transit, Transit Connect, and Ranger model lines.
"The Chairman's Award is a true reflection of all the hard work carried out at Poole," said Elwyn Pritchard, Foray Group commercial vehicles director.
"These are tough times for any vehicle sales team and the success in Poole reflects how much customers appreciate both the individual sales staff and the excellent product range.
"With new Ranger introduced earlier this year and major revisions to the Transit range, starting with the introduction of the radically new one tonne Transit Custom in the autumn I anticipate they will be busier than ever. I can also guarantee their levels of customer service won't drop, either!"
