Ford promotes driver skills and safety to the next level
The Ford Motor Company is not just known for its great range of Ford cars for sale, they have once again proved that they take road safety extremely seriously too, by taking their ‘Driving Skills for Life' program to the next level; bringing it to the television screen in a bid to promote it even further.
The scheme, which currently operates in North America, saw several teenagers aged between 15-18 take part in the television game show ‘The Price is Right', in a bid to highlight the importance of safe driving. The show is the longest running game show in television history and is an ideal stage for Ford to promote its scheme.
Last night saw the winner receive the opportunity to have a Ford ‘Driving Skills for Life' event hosted at their school, which includes presentations, talks and even an appearance by Kate Voegele, the actress from the TV Show One Tree Hill who has become the spokesperson for the scheme.
Since the scheme was set up in 2003, Ford Driving Skills for Life has trained and helped over 500,000 drivers, through their free online driving instruction.
