FORD CONTINUE TO INVEST IN THEIR TRANSIT VAN PRODUCTION
Ford have had some great news about their sales figures for the first month of the new year in both personal and commercial vehicles, and so that they can maintain this lead, created by having consumer confidence, quality products and a reputation for creating reliable, durable and cost-effective vehicles, they are continuing to invest in their new motors.
One part of this is a $1.1 billion expansion at one of their American plants in Missouri. It's a commercial plant, heavily involved with Ford Transit production as well as some America-specific vehicles. Ford hopes that the changes at the plant will allow consumers to see real improvement in the next generation of Ford commercial vehicles.
Investment like this demonstrates just how important commercial vehicles are to Ford, and help to reassure consumers that they will not rest on their laurels when it comes to producing excellent vans.
