Ford cars join the 2012 Eco Rally
The Ford Motor Company have been busy showcasing their range of Eco friendly vehicles recently at a variety of events across the UK, with the latest being the 2012 Eco Rally.
The rally saw Ford introduce a whole new selection of Focus models, including three newly designed powertrains, with all versions taking part in the 65 mile journey.
This year was the sixth edition of the environmental event and as expected it was even more highly attended than ever, with businesses and individuals helping to showcase the UK's most sustainable and environmentally friendly vehicles.
Ford's EcoBoost engines were one of the highlights of Ford's contribution to the rally. The 1 litre award winning engines showed spectators just why it has become so highly regarded throughout the world since its introduction earlier in the year.
Prior to the rally, Ford held a special conference entitled ‘Investing in future Transport', whereupon some of Ford's most influential developers gave keynote speeches regarding a variety of topics, including future development and current fuel efficiency on models of Ford cars for sale.
The eco rally travelled the 64 mile route from Oxford to London, with many celebrity drivers in tow, with the aim of spreading the word about eco friendly driving.
