Active City Stop to be included in the Ford B-MAX

Some very interesting news has just been released by the Ford Motor Company regarding their upcoming B-Max vehicle; their Active City Stop system will be included with the vehicle when it is released.

Ford have conducted research that has shown that more than half of a million people are injured in crashes within cities each year, with one in eight of these being caused by rear end shunting.  Rear end shunting is something that Ford active technology can help protect against, the system works by studying traffic in front of the vehicle and applying the brakes should an imminent collision be detected.

This is certainly great news for those interested in buying the B-MAX, soon to become one of the newest and most popular Ford cars for sale in the UK.

You will have to wait until at least spring 2012 before the B-MAX will be available at your nearest Ford car dealership, but with so many great features it will certainly be worth the wait!
