FORD VANS WIN FLEET HEROES AWARD FOR INNOVATION IN VAN MANUFACTURING

The Ford Motor Company is celebrating yet another accolade to add to their bulging light commercial vehicle awards' cabinet. The Energy Saving Trust recently announced the winners of their coveted Fleet Hero Awards 2011 and Ford Vans came out tops in their category.
The judges highlighted and awarded Ford and their vans for bringing premium, efficient vehicle technologies at low cost to a wider fleet market, which included the many vehicles in their range of standard vans and commercial light vehicles.
Commercial vehicle customers will also benefit from Ford's ECOnetic technologies, which have now been extended to include advanced battery management systems, plus the optional ECO-Pack. This includes the switch-able Auto Stop-Start, and 110 km/h ‘Speed Limiter' function, which is now available for most engine and transmission combinations.
This is just one example of Ford's commitment to design and to build both quality and economically efficient vehicles like the popular Ford Transit and the Ford Transit Connect.
So if you are currently considering a new light commercial vehicle like one of the new Ford vans, which include the Transit van and Transit Connect, then maybe it's time to visit your local commercial Ford van dealership to take advantage of these new energy efficient vehicles.
