FORD'S GET £350M TO DEVELOP ECO-FRIENDLY VAN

The British Government have decided to back Ford's £1.5 billion investment to develop a new 'green' generation of eco-friendly motor engines.
A loan of £360 million towards projects over the next five years was announced by Business Secretary Lord Mandelson.
These proposals announced by Ford should safeguard 2,800 skilled jobs at its East London plant at Dagenham, its research centre at Dunton in Essex and two other plants at Southampton and Bridgend.
A quarter of all Ford engines across the globe as well as more than half of its diesel engines are all produced in the UK.
