Ford receives recognition at Motability awards

The Ford Motor Company has seen themselves receive recognition for their role in helping disabled people with their motoring needs, with the blue oval being highly commended at a recent awards ceremony.

The motoring giants attained commendation status at the annual Motability Awards for their hard work and their role in providing assistance for not only disabled people but their families as well.

Ford's popularity within the Motability scheme is evident by the sheer amount of applications that the organisation receives each year for those seeking one of the fabulous Ford cars for sale as part of the scheme. On average, Ford provide over 1000 vehicles to the organisation that leases vehicles to disabled customers and has received great reviews from users in the past.

At the Motability Awards, Mike Betts, the organisation's chief executive, commented on Ford's success and that the award was very apt due to the increase in recent applications and the motor manufacturer's constant striving to improve its technologies and safety factors.

Ford themselves have their own motability programmes that are organised via Ford car dealerships across the country, with vehicles such as the Ford B-MAX and Ford Focus being two of the most popular options.
