A second hand white Ford Fiesta van is about to go under the hammer and is expected to make a lot more than other vans of similar age. The vehicle in question belonged to radio and television personality Jimmy Saville.
The Ford van will be part of an auction of the late celebrity's possessions that he asked to be sold off for charity. Other items include his convertible Rolles Royce Corniche, Jim'll Fix It chair, running medals and vests, a selection of suits and even royal correspondence.
The celebrity enjoyed a very flamboyant lifestyle but relished his own space and bought the white Fiesta van to travel around his hometown of Leeds incognito. The Fiesta van is estimated at between £3,000 to £5,000 and has only got 8,000 miles on the clock.
There are easier ways though to buy used or new Ford vans than at an auction however, like heading to your nearest commercial van dealer.
