2014 Ford EcoSport EcoBoost hailed as success

Ford UK dealers will currently be beaming with excitement, as the 2014 Ford EcoSport has been receiving rave reviews from car experts after being road tested.

The Motor Report, for example, has given the 2014 Ford EcoSport Titanium a three and a half star out of five overall rating.

The review says that the 1.0 litre model has a "gutsy little engine with surprising torque". The review also praises the "around-town practicality and flexibility; and an amazing engine that will win hearts."

And that's not the only positive review of the EcoSport to have been published lately, with the Bury Free Press also saying that the car is "yet another first-rate motor from Ford".

The Ford EcoSport is particularly hailed for its award-winning three-cylinder engines. The model gives potential buyers the option of a 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine, a conventional 1.5 litre petrol engine and a 1.5 litre four-pot diesel engine.

A host of high tech features

The new vehicle's SUV cabin has been described as "surprisingly spacious", and is seen as the perfect car for a growing family, although it can easily fit four grown adults as well.

The EcoSport was also applauded by the Bury Free Press' reviewers for its inclusion of keyless ignition, alloy wheels, air conditioning, its excellent audio system and lavish upholstery.

Like with many other new and used Ford vehicles, buyers can choose to pay for additional extras such as leather trim, rain sensing wipers, cruise control and popular SYNC entertainment system, which comes with mobile connectivity as standard.

Road tests of the Ford EcoSport 1.0 EcoBoost found that the car had a maximum speed of 112 miles per hour and could reach 0-62 miles per hour in just 12.7 seconds.

A new Ford EcoSport EcoBoost car, which tests found had a CO2 rating of 125g/km, is available to buy for around £16,000.
