This September we walked 25km around the Jurassic Coast to raise funds for five Dorset-based charities. With marvellous sea views, stunning coastal paths, and the chance to make a real difference in our community, it was an unforgettable day out for a great cause.

And it’s not just for people, we’re encouraging walkers to bring their four-legged friends along too! It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with your dog while supporting great causes.

Starting from Durlston National Nature Reserve car park at 9am on the 21st of September.

By taking part, you’ll be supporting:

Margaret Green Animal Rescue – caring for and rehoming abandoned, unwanted, or mistreated animals, giving them the second chance they deserve.

Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance – providing life-saving critical care and rapid response for those in urgent need across our region.

British Heart Foundation – funding groundbreaking research to prevent, treat, and beat heart and circulatory diseases.

Cancer Research UK – leading the fight against cancer through pioneering research, treatments, and support for those affected.

Mind Dorset – offering essential mental health support, advice, and services to ensure no one in Dorset faces mental health challenges alone.

This is more than just a walk – it’s a powerful way to come together, enjoy one of the UK’s most spectacular coastlines, and raise funds for causes that truly transform lives. Whether you’re walking for personal reasons, to support a loved one, or simply to take on a challenge, every step you take will help make a lasting impact.
