CUTTING-EDGE ENGINE TECH More efficient and powerful than ever, the new Transit Chassis Cab comes with the option of a number of different, advanced 2.0 litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines. You’re sure to find the right van for you – just take your pick of four available powertrains, which offer up to 182bhp and 415Nm of torque. Each engine meets stringent Euro 6.2 emissions standards. The vehicle is also available with a Heavy Duty Truck (HDT) engine, to suit heavier conversions, and for even greater fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions, it’s available as a mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (mHEV).

PURPOSEFUL TECHNOLOGY Packed full of advanced technology, the new Transit Chassis Cab is innovatively designed to help you work more cleverly and efficiently. Electric Power-Assisted steering adapts as conditions change, making steering at low speeds light and easy, but firm at higher speeds. Combine this with Intelligent Adaptive Cruise control to make long journeys on motorways more economical and, importantly, less tiring! Using as wide range of selectable drive modes, you can take control of any situation. Drive modes include Normal, Slippery, Mud/Rut, Tow/Hail and the new EcoMode. Your Transit will handle perfectly to suit the task in hand.

FULLY CONNECTED WITH YOUR WORLD An exciting new feature, the FordPass Connect modem* is now available in the new Transit Chassis Cab. Unlocking a range of powerful benefits, such as 4G WiFi for up to ten devices, the system delivers real-time traffic updates straight to your SYNC 3 navigation system. The system gains even more power and functionality when combined with the FordPass app on your phone. Through this, you can check if you’ve remembered to lock your doors, then lock or unlock them remotely. The system can also provide you with notifications while it tracks the status of your vehicle, and advise you if it detects that maintenance is required.
