On Wednesday, 14th May, English Ford was proud to host Drive 4 UR Community — a fundraising event that brings people together to support an incredible, life-saving local charity. Our event took place at the Hilton Bournemouth offering Foray guests & members of the public to take a test drive for charity!
Every test drive which took place, Ford UK will donated £30 to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
For every successful Electric Vehicle (EV) test drive completed, Ford UK donated £30 to Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance – helping to keep their critical service operational across our counties.
We had a total of 35 Test Drives on the day, as well as cash donations and even a T-Shirt purchase.
In total, we raised over £1,050 for Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance!

We chose to support Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance because of the vital work they do, providing rapid emergency medical care when every second counts. Operating without direct government funding, the charity relies on donations to continue saving lives in our local community.
This was also a great opportunity to explore Ford’s cutting-edge electric line-up and experience the future of driving — clean, quiet, and packed with advanced technology.

Donation of £30 per valid test-drive, up to 200 test-drives, for a total donation of £6,000 per event. Limit one (1) donation per household. Organisation is selected at the discretion of the participating Ford Dealership.
