Next Wednesday (March 21st) the Budget will be announced by the Chancellor George Osborne, with many commercial van owners speculating just what could be in store for them.
Already owners of car and vans such as Transit vans have seen petrol and diesel prices rise to record levels, this has resulted in many calling for cuts in fuel duty. Another item that many will be watching out for will be bio fuel tax increases, just recently a planned 20p per litre tax increase was announced, but is still in the planning phase.
As mentioned, many businesses will be closely watching the budget, especially frequent road users as knock on effects could easily affect fleet upgrades and delay plans such as purchasing of New Ford vans during 2012.
The budget will be taking place at 12.30 next Wednesday.
