Ford’s Go Further event round up


With Ford's Go Further event sadly finished, and such a huge amount of information released showcasing the motor manufacturer's upcoming releases and vision, it's a good idea to view some of the main announcements and highlights. Here are just a few of the highlights from the Amsterdam show.

In total, Ford unveiled fifteen newly designed or restyled vehicles, all of which will be available at Ford car dealers across Europe within the next five years.

A new EcoSport compact SUV is due to be released in the future alongside the Edge SUV, which will finally be available in Europe.

The Fiesta is due to be updated and will feature a sharper and more stylish exterior design and a whole host of Ford in-car technology. The new Fiesta is due for release later in 2013.

A surprise for many at the event was the announcement that the legendary muscle car, the Mustang, will become available in Europe as part of motor manufacturer's ‘One Ford' global vision.

The Fiesta was certainly not one of the only Ford cars for sale in Europe that was set for a makeover and restyle, the new Ford Mondeo was unveiled to much excitement at the event. Ford has commented that it will available during autumn 2013 and will come equipped with an EcoBoost engine, further enhancing its appeal.
