Ford reports largest profit in 13 years.
The Ford Motor Company have just announced that they have achieved their third consecutive profit increase, not only that but the figure is now the largest in thirteen years, The car makers are now set to give out one of the biggest profit sharing bonus schemes in the company's history.
Due to large profits within North America this year, 41,600 hourly workers are set to receive a bonus of approximately $6,200 this year up from last year's $5000.
The Ford Motor Company's chief financial officer, Lewis Booth, commented that the news was a very encouraging and positive signal. The company have predicted that profits are set to increase during 2012 and that profit margins will be equal or better than the 2011 figures.
