Meet the Motability specialists
Kathy Malloch is no stranger to accolades during the nine years she has been Motability specialist at English Ford in Poole. Champagne corks popped when she was named best out of the hundreds of Motability accredited dealers in the south-west.
Kathy handles only Motability sales, such as demand in the Poole and Bournemouth area, and is kept busy serving many of the more than 1,500 Motability customers.
She is assisted by Charlotte Dibben, another member of the sales team at English Ford, when things get really busy – as they often do!
Jane Coe joined the Yeovil and Taunton Foray dealerships especially to concentrate on becoming a Motability specialist.
With three months’ dedicated training behind her and several months working at both dealerships, former delicatessen worker Jane is really get a taste for her new role.
Part of her work entails getting out into the community to make connections with surgeries and various societies. If your group would benefit from an explanation of the scheme, get in touch with Jane through either the Yeovil Ford or Taunton Ford dealerships.
Matt Harmer, Motability specialist at Hine Motors in Shaftesbury, is no stranger to the scheme.
He has now been accredited by Motability for 10 years and has served scheme customers at both Edwards Ford and Andover Ford before moving to Hine Motors.
Hundreds of people across all three dealerships have been introduced to Motability and the freedom it brings by Matt.
A background in management with a major national retailer put Nick Martell in good stead when he joined the sales team at Andover Ford.
He seemed the natural choice to become the Motability specialist when the vacancy arose and has since helped hundreds of people realise their mobility ambitions by obtaining a car through the scheme.
A driving enthusiast himself who owns his own Fiesta ST, Nick knows the pleasure that getting out and about can bring.
Wendy is the new Motability specialist at Edwards Ford, but she is not a newcomer to the world of cars sales and service, having joined what is now Foray Motor Group 27 years ago as an apprentice mechanic.
Wendy progressed to become one of the first female MOT testers in southern England before joining the service reception team, then transferring to the commercial sales team before being a new car sales co-ordinator. Outside of work, Wendy has been a Special Constable with Wiltshire Police, is a qualified nanny, and is a very proud mum who is very much into health and fitness.
Because of all her experience, Wendy is ideally qualified for her new Motability role and looking forward to meeting her Motability scheme customers.
